These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Mupler, Inc.'s ("Mupler", "we" or "us") services, platform, and related tools.

1. Service Description

Mupler is an online platform that enables legal professionals to send and manage intake forms while collecting client-submitted information in a structured format.

    No Legal AdviceMupler does not provide legal advice, legal review, or guarantees of compliance

    Template FormsAll forms are templates and should be reviewed and completed by the legal professional before use

2. Subscription, Form Submissions & & Free Trials

Mupler plans include a fixed number of form submissions allocated on a monthly basis.

    Monthly AllocationEach subscription plan includes a set number of form submissions per calendar month, as specified in your plan details
  • 2
    Non-Rollover PolicyUnused form submissions do not carry over to the following month. Any unused submissions expire at the end of each billing cycle
  • 3
    OverageIf you exceed your monthly submission limit, additional submissions may not be available until the next billing cycle unless you upgrade your plan
  • 4
    Free Trial EligibilityEach legal professional, organization, or firm is entitled to exactly one (1) consecutive 14-day free trial period. Registering multiple accounts or deleting and recreating an account to bypass this limit is strictly prohibited
  • 5
    Trial Abuse PreventionTo enforce trial limits, Mupler utilizes automated validation systems and verification identifiers. We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend any account, delete its data, and block future access if we suspect free trial abuse

💡 Unused form submissions expire at the end of each monthly billing cycle and cannot be refunded or transferred. Free trial periods are single-use only per user/firm

3. Access to Client Data

Mupler does not access, view, or use client-submitted data unless:

    User RequestExplicitly requested by the user (e.g. for troubleshooting or technical support)
  • 2
    Legal RequirementRequired by law, court order, or other legal obligations

All client data remains confidential and is processed solely to provide the intended service. In handling this data, Mupler acts as a service provider to the legal professional and uses client data only to deliver the Service.

4. Responsibility of Legal Professionals

Legal professionals using Mupler are solely responsible for:

    Legal ComplianceEnsuring compliance with all applicable laws, ethical obligations, and data protection requirements (including, but not limited to, ABA Model Rule 1.6, CCPA, GLBA, other applicable U.S. state privacy laws, and GDPR, if applicable)

    ConfidentialityMaintaining client confidentiality in accordance with their jurisdiction's professional standards
  • 3
    Client Data RequestsHandling client requests related to their data, including deletion requests, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Legal professionals are the primary point of contact for such requests. Mupler may assist in fulfilling such requests upon the user’s request

💡 Mupler provides technical infrastructure only and does not replace the legal professional’s responsibility to ensure compliance, confidentiality, and proper use of collected data

5. Restrictions on Use

A. No HIPAA

    Not for PHIMupler is not designed for storing or processing Protected Health Information (PHI)

    User ResponsibilityUsers must not upload or process PHI through Mupler. Any such use is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms

B. General Restrictions

Users must not use Mupler for unlawful purposes or to collect data that violates applicable privacy, data protection, or professional ethics laws.

6. Account Responsibility

    Credential SecurityUsers are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and access to their account

    Shared AccessShared access is only permitted in accordance with the subscription plan purchased
  • 3
    Unauthorized AccessMupler is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by weak passwords, credential sharing, or inadequate account security practices by the user

7. Data Security

    EncryptionAll data is encrypted in transit (SSL) and at rest
  • 2
    InfrastructureMupler uses secure hosting and regular backups
  • 3
    Access ControlsAccess to your account and client data is restricted to authenticated account users, and each account’s data is kept separate from others

    Monitoring & AuditingMupler applies safeguards such as access logging and protections against automated abuse to help detect and prevent unauthorized access
  • 5
    Data RetentionClient data is retained and removed as described in our Privacy Policy, including automatic deletion after an extended period of inactivity
  • 6
    Service ProvidersMupler relies on trusted third-party providers (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and email delivery) that are expected to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality protections
  • 7
    Security LimitationsWhile Mupler follows industry-standard security practices, no system can guarantee absolute security.

    Exported DataUsers are responsible for ensuring that exported data (e.g., PDFs) is handled securely outside Mupler

8. Limitation of Liability

Mupler provides its services "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mupler shall not be liable for:

    Legal OutcomesLegal outcomes or case results
  • 2
    Compliance FailuresCompliance failures due to user misuse of forms or features
  • 3
    Data BreachesData breaches resulting from user negligence or insecure data handling outside Mupler

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

    Account SuspensionWe reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws

    User TerminationUsers may terminate their account at any time. Data deletion will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy

10. Modifications to the Terms

    UpdatesMupler may update these Terms from time to time

    AcceptanceContinued use of Mupler after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

11. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Mupler will be handled in accordance with the governing law described above. Before pursuing any formal action, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us, and to work together in good faith toward a resolution.

13. Accessibility

Mupler strives to make its platform usable and to follow recognized web accessibility practices. If you experience any difficulty accessing or using the Service, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
